My name is Rolf Piechura. I am a freelance user experience designer based in Berlin. This is my portfolio site and blog.

I also blog and tweet from time to time about things I discover during my work, things I think are worth sharing, or that will – potentially – advance the digital world even further.

What do I do?

I live in Berlin and work freelance in user experience design.

This means I develop websites and digital applications within the fields of interaction design, information architecture and usability engineering.

How does this work?

I first research user needs and develop ideas and strategies based on the project objectives.

I then create a rough concept defining the content and basic functions of the website.

The detailed production manual will contain wireframes, functional characteristics and use cases.

If possible, I try to involve the user as much as possible in the development process. (User-centred design)

Experience

I have 7+ years of work experience in marketing in general and 4+ years of work experience in user experience design, working for both corporations and agencies alike.
